2014-2015 Winter Soccer League Mens (Over 35+)

The Mens (Over 35+) Winter Soccer is an Adult League comprised of at least 4-8 teams playing in a 7vs7 indoor format.

All players must be registered with the Cherry Beach Soccer Club for insurance reasons.

Individual Participation Fee:
(All individual pricing includes HST & Referee Fees)
November to January - 3 Months of Soccer @ $225/player
or
November to April - 6 Months of Soccer @ $450/player

Team Entry Fee:
$1995/team based on 3 months ($2435 includes HST & Referee Fees) 
or
$3995/team based on 6 months ($4875 includes HST & Referee Fees) 
 
Cost includes Field Rental, HST Tax, TSA Insurance, Cherry Beach Membership and Referee Fees. The season will start end of October until the end of April, minimum of 12/games/season and/or 24 games in total.

The indoor season games will be played on a:

FRIDAY NIGHT
 3-6 months of Soccer from end of October to end of April
 Choose to play 3 months (October to January) or 6 months (November to April)
Fixed start times of 7pm and/or 8pm
Monarch Park Stadium ... larger playing surface, change rooms, bathrooms, showers ...

The official start of the indoor season is October 24th, 2014!

The Rules & Conditions of the Mens Open 35+ Winter Soccer League:

The teams will be made up using the following principals:
1) The minimum age will be 35 as of December 31st, 2014.
2) Each team will be allowed to have 5 designates in the 30-34 year old range on the team.
3) All players must be registered with the OSA or they will not be permitted to play.
4) Team Captains will provide picture of every registered player along with completed TSA Registration Form.
5) Only those players with picture provided with roster sheet will be permitted to play by referee.
6) Captains are suggested to complete a roster of 12-15 players and add additional players up to a roster size of 25 players.
7) Teams must field a minimum of 5 players at start of game or forfeit game.
8) Should both teams be agreeable to let a registered/insured player play on either team upon informing ref, win, tie or loss will stand.
9) Trades will be allowed between teams as long as the palyers involved are agreeable to the transfer.
10) Slide tackles are not permitted in accordance to FIFA indoor rules and for safety concerns not permitted outdoors either.
11) Scores will be kept and top team will be determined by Wins (3 points), Tie (1 point) & Loss (0 points). If there is a tie:
     a) best goal differential, b) least goals c) least goals for d) head to head competition! 
12) There will be a League Champion and a Playoff Championship all awarded at the end of the 6 month season in late April. 
13) Should teams be tied during the Playoff Championship Game, games will be decided by penalty shots.
14) All indoor games will be played on 7vs7 field and maximum playing time is 50-55 minutes.
15) To maintain control, referees may give offending players a 2 minute time-out & team will have to play short-handed.
16) Players given a red card, team will play short-handed for the duration of the game. 
16) Any player who receives 3 red cards in a Summer or Winter season is out of the Adult League with no refund!
17) Referees govern games under FIFA rules, ensure players are registered & decisions are final.
 

Anyone found being abusive to the referee or unsporting in anyway will receive a RED CARD. If a red card is issued the player sits out the next game. If a second red card is issued to a player in the same season of play the player will be suspended for 3 games. A third red card in one season will force the club to permanently ban the guilty party from play, and the registration fee will be forfeited and no refund will be issued!

Any PHYSICAL ASSAULT against a player or referee will result in an automatic permanent league suspension and a police investigation. Physical assault is any hitting, kicking, punching, choking, spitting on, head butting and of course spilling beer. It will not be tolerated. And any referee abuse will be investigated and if the player is found guilty by a panel of 3 captains he will be asked to leave the league.
