Competitive All-Stars/Rep Program U7-U18

The competitive program is for players who we (Club) would classify as "above average House League players".  These players are willing to chase the ball without encouragement, they already have a sense for the game, they know how to pass or shoot the ball, and are most often athletic etc. 

Parents must be fully committed since there are 2-4x practices/week along with games and a greater financial commitment.  Participation cost in competitive All-Star/Rep is certainly higher compared to recreational Combo House League Game & Basic Development Training format.  Competitive teams practice so much more, there is home and away gear, travel and there is so much more involved in the way of coaching (dedicated paid coach) and management of the team.

Players are evaluated year-round, all accredited coaches are hired based on their expertise of the game and in summer practice 3-4x/week and/or in Winter 2x/week. Since 2009, we have steadily been increasing in the number of competitive teams in both boys and girls’ divisions and our teams are getting stronger every year.  Today we can boast about the fact that we have the 2nd largest contingent of competitive teams in Toronto and our teams are strong! 

All our coaches are accredited through Ontario Soccer and many of them who lead teams have an extensive background in having played soccer at the scholastic or some professional level.  Coaches are selected based on their abitliy to mentor youth soccer players whether that is to enjoy the sports until they depart to university, some on to school scholarships and/or a lucky enough through much extra effort to a professional career.

For Summer our Grassroots Teams U8-U12 enter the TO League (14-16 games) with T1 and T2 options and play in the blended Toronto region with Home and Away games.  For U8 this is handled a little differently with teams playing at selected Festivals by Clubs/Acedemy's willing to host.  Our U13+ teams, have the option to compete in the District TO League (14-16 games), while our more select A teams enter the Regional I-Model league. Teams will attempt to qualify and may play as many as 20+ games to either end up in the toughest regional C1 or C2 competition against some of the best teams out there with much more travel.  Teams in Summer train 2x/week with their own team and we offer additional Academy Training on Friday and Sunday as an added option.  Our teams are lucky enough to play on really nice turf fields at least for all their games which venues at Monarch Park Stadium, Birchmount Stadium, St. Patrick's Field, Cherry Beach Sports Fields, Regent Park Athletic Grounds, L'Amoreaux Sports Complex etc. Included in our Summer fees is also a 1-week Summer Soccer Camp. 

Come Winter much of our programming goes indoors and 3/4 of our training is done out of Monarch Park Stadium and other indoor venues like BallSports, Toronto City Sports Centre, Toronto SportsPlex and a few other select school gyms in the area.  All competitive teams train 2x/week, but teams and coaches have the option to add-on more training at an added cost.  All Grassroots teams join the amalgamated Toronto TO and blended York League to face a variety of teams.  Our U13+, are actively encouraged to join the Provincial Indoor Soccer League (PISL) based on T1 or T2 competition in 6vs6 or 11vs11 format based on 1-1.5 hour games.

Players participating in any practice format, receive more practice time with more space in comparison to any of our recreational playing/training formats so there is better value and also longer lasting bonding experiences as well for both players and parents. 

We encourage our teams to enter Festivals (grassroots) and Tournaments (U13+) to compete against the very best.
