Player Development Pathways
CBSC provides a pathway for a player to go from 4/ 5-years-old all the way to adult within our Club.
CBSC offers everything from recreational House League to Basic Development and Competitive All-Star/Rep soccer from U4 all the way up to U18, along with adult programming.
Specifically, following the CSA LTPD stages, we focus both, in Learning to Train and Training to Train, on identifying the potential elite player, and seek to recruit the talented youth player who has emerged from our FUNdamentals U6-U8 F and U6-U9 M programs, through “Golden Age of Learning” U8-U11 F and U9-U12 M.
Our House League brings in players both in winter and summer who want to play “the Game”. Some parents will invest in our Package Deal and add the Basic Development “Skills & Drills” with HL programming to get them ready for the next level – Competitive All-Star/ Rep - which has 26 competitive teams in total, in the Boys and Girls Division.
For most age groups in the competitive division there are A and B teams, as well as referee positions at U12+ and junior coaching positions at U16+ with the Club.
When they reach the age of U18 hopefully we will have prepared quite a number of players that will go on to just play recreational soccer and a select group that will go on to play College/University soccer, some with soccer scholarships and even a professional career.
House league is offered year-round. We offer the same Development Program (Basic and Academy) along with HL programming from U7 right up to U16.
In House League we have the following age groups and teams:
