2024 Summer CB Waterfront Men's Adult Soccer League
Choose to register team or as an individual player to play in the
CB Waterfront Adult Men's Soccer League at the Competitive T1 or Recreational T2 Level:
CB Waterfront Competitive Adult Men's League (T1 Level) Open 18+
Games will be played Monday/Tuesday only!
and/or
CB Waterfront Recreational Adult Men's League (T2 Level) Combined Open 18+/Over 35
Games will be played Wednesday/Thursday and some Fridays!
Our Adult Soccer League comprised of at least at least 8-12 teams (T1 and/or T2 level)
playing in a 11vs11 outdoor format played Toronto TURF fields on beautiful downtown TURF fields such as:
Cherry Beach Sports Fields, McNicoll Park, Lamport Stadium, Monarch Park Stadium and/or Birchmount Stadium
with the occasional game on grass depending on the # of entries.

Format would be based on at least 12 to as many as 16 regular season games
depending on the # of team entries followed by a playoff format in September/October

NO Games are played on any long Weekends
Adult Team Entry Fee at $4995/team
recommend that you qoute $300/player based on Team Registration (based on 18 players)
and/or
$300/player based on Individual Registration (No Team)
Team entry fee includes Player & Club Fees, TSA/OSA Insurance and Official Fees
Games will be played for 90 minutes with sanctioned head official and linesman to maintain the integrity of the games.
ADDED Cost: Teams requiring a Uniform (Shirt/Short/Socks) choose colour & add $500/set (20 players).
Promotion and Relegation
Depending on entries, we will provide a promotional relegation format between T1 and T2 Level.
Any new teams interested and wishing to join T1 must show proof that they are capable of playing at that level.
Teams that do exceptionally well at T2, may also be asked to move to T1 whether they agree or not.
All players must be registered with the Cherry Beach Soccer Club and/or OSA for insurance reasons.
The Rules of the Summer CB Waterfront Adult Soccer League Open 18+ and/or Over 35 League:
The teams will be made up using the following principles and adhere to the following guidelines:
1) The minimum age should be for players who will be 18 as of December 31, 2023.
2) The exception to this rule is younger players who might be capable of playing against men at which point the parents would sign a waiver form.
3) In the Open 18+ League, we will run 2 separate T1/T2 and appropriate Promotion/Relegations Rules will be applied from year to year!
4) With the Over 35+ League, teams can have 5 players (30-34 years), special dispensation may be granted to other teams to allow for more to make it work!
5) All players must be registered with the OSA, or they will not be permitted to play ... underage players will be required to sign special Waiver Forms.
6) Team Captains will provide picture of every registered player along with completed TSA Registration Form.
7) Only those players with picture provided with roster sheet will be permitted to play by referee.
8) Your team cost includes insurance for 18 players only, call-up players are not permitted unless insurance is in place.
9) Teams & captains can increase their roster above 20 or swap, but players must be registered at a cost of $30/player & this must be done 24 hours prior.
10) Captains are suggested to complete a roster of 18 players (minimum/game) and add additional players up to a roster size of 25 players.
11) Teams must field a minimum of 9 players (outdoors) and 7 players (indoors) at start of game or they will forfeit game.
12) Should both teams be agreeable to let a registered/insured player play on either team upon informing ref, win, tie, or loss will stand.
13) Trades will be allowed between teams if the players involved are agreeable to the transfer.
14) Slide tackles are permitted in Open 18+ T1/T2 in accordance to FIFA outdoor rules, but NO slide tackles are permitted in Over 35 outdoors or indoors.
15) Scores will be kept, and top team will be determined by Wins (3 points), Tie (1 point) & Loss (0 points). If there is a tie:
a) best goal differential, b) goals for c) goals against d) head-to-head competition
16) In the case of a "Team NO Show" due to unseen circumstances and where there is at least 48 hrs notice prior to the game, there will be NO team fine. Where there is no notice given and/or it's done with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a $150 fine imposed. Second infraction for the same thing $300 and third infraction and team may be asked to leave the league with no refund. Any forfeited games will be recorded as a FIFA 3-0 loss.
17) Under NO circumstances once we have published the schedule can we change the schedule, there are limited quality fields ... only under unusual circumstances would we be willing to make any changes to the schedule once published.
18) There will be a League Champion and a Playoff Championship all awarded at the end of the 4-month season in September/October.
19) Should teams be tied during the Playoff Championship Game, games will be decided by 5 penalty shots.
20) All outdoor games will be played on 11v11 field and maximum playing time is 90 minutes. Indoor games on 6vs6 field format.
21) No team, captain or player shall decide whether a game is playable or not, that discretion lies solely with ref in liaison with Club.
22) In the case of rain-out, home team (listed 1st) will be granted 2 alternative dates when it can be played & team has to respond within 48 hours or away team (listed 2nd) will be given the choice of choosing. No alternative dates will be entertained & ref must be present.
23) Referees govern games under FIFA rules, ensure players are registered & decisions are final.
24) CB Waterfront Adult League and format to be finalized once the entry of teams has been confirmed.
25) CB Waterfront Adult League will use a head referee along with 2 linesmen ... should a decision be made to go to 1 official and/or just 2 officials ... adjustments in pricing will be provided.
* Please note that any pre-season, Relegation and/or Promotion competition determine teams to be promoted and/or relegated, it will be an added cost not included in above pricing.
Anyone found being abusive to the referee or unsporting in anyway will receive a RED CARD. If a red card is issued, the player sits out the next game. If a second red card is issued to a player in the same season of play, the player will be suspended for 2 games. A third red card in one season will force the club to permanently ban the guilty party from play, and the registration fee will be forfeited. All players are to adhere to FIFA Players Code of Conduct.
Any PHYSICAL ASSAULT against a player or referee will result in an automatic permanent league suspension and a police investigation. Physical assault is any hitting, kicking, punching, choking, spitting on, head butting and of course spilling beer. It will not be tolerated. And any referee abuse will be investigated and if the player is found guilty by a panel of 3 captains, they will be asked to leave the league. This is a serious violent Act and it's at the discretion of Club and/or assault victim to proceed with father action with Ontario Soccer and could result in permanent banishment from any future sanctioned soccer.
Team Registration does not include a uniform, teams either supply or one may have to be purchased by players!
Recreation and sportsmanship FIRST!
Refund Policy
The Club agrees to give a full refund when such a request is received in writing with explanation for withdrawal via mail and/or email 3 months prior to the commencement of the program less $25 Administration Fee for processing refund. After this date and before the beginning of the program in question, NO refund should be issued, and it is at the Club's and its officials discretion if any credit and/or any refund will be issued. Upon receiving a written request for refund along with reasonable explanation, Club and its officials will determine what the refund will be if any. NO refunds of any amount are issued once we are beyond the halfway point of the season. Insurance costs are unrecoverable and not transferable, and any practice/game sessions attended or held are not refundable.
In any event that due to Covid-19 or other variant, that no season can proceed, a partial refund will be issued less Admin Fee. Once season has begun, credits will be issued towards future season for any programming that could not be completed.
