CHERRY BEACH BLACKHAWK ALL-STAR 2004 BOYS

2014-04-29

History:
Since its start-up in 2009, the Cherry Beach Soccer Club has been actively striving to establish more competitive teams.  Our Blackhawk Rep team has already been selected for the upcoming Toronto Soccer Association (TSA) season.

However, since we continue to field calls from parents who are looking for their boys to be part of something competitive, we are planning to establish a Blackhawk All-Star U10 team.  Players could participate in House League play and come together to practice with other competitive players to form an All-Star team that would take part in as many as 3 All-Star Festivals this upcoming summer.

Blackhawk All-Star players may end up practicing together with the Blackhawk Rep players and as required, certain selected players may be called-up to help the Rep team during the season when players are on holidays.

If interested in our All-Star squad for this for this upcoming summer season ... so express your interest & come and try-out, call us (416) 367-4359 or email us info@cherrybeachsoccer.ca .

Summer Practices, Games & Try-Outs Schedule:
Monday - Practices
Wednesday - Games at MP Stadium from 6-7Pm
Saturday - Practices & Festivals
Sunday - Practices TBD.

We feel that with our increased membership base of about 1500 players in our Development Programs and House League, that we can now field several new teams and have them start them out as All-Star/Select teams before participating in the more competitive Toronto Soccer Association (TSA) and Central Soccer League (CSL).

Coaching:
We already have a great technical director in Toni Ali and Andy Honywill who will be assisting with the program.
Technical Director - Toni Ali & Andy Honywill
Head Coach - TBD.
Manager - John Hendriks

Interested players would join our regular House League program for just $200/player & play in a mixed team format.  Boys born 2004, interested in joining the CB Blackhawk All-Stars would come together and practice as a collective group to train 1-2x/week in order to prepare to compete in a TSA organized Select League and/or Festivals throughout the GTA.

Total cost to participate in an All-Star Program should come in around $450-$475/player, which includes House League fees of $200/player for game, uniform & ball, 1x practice session and participation in as many as 3 OSA sanctioned Soccer Festivals, which includes referee fees.

Those players/parents wanting to do an extra practice and/or 2x/week, it's an extra $100/player and/or $550/player.

Winter Practices, Games & Try-Outs Schedule:
Back to indoor Monarch Park Stadium late October 2014!

This is a stepping stone prior to this team entering the Rep competitive TSA and/or CSL.  Players will learn to live a great lifestyle, bond as a team, create life long friendships and some may even go on to obtain soccer scholarships or even a chance at a pro-career playing or coaching the great game of soccer!
