House League Game Uniform Pick-Up
Hello Coaches, Parents, Guardians & Players,
Cherry Beach Soccer Club Summer House League Soccer Programming begins the week of Monday June 1st and all the other game nights.
Basic Development Skills/Drills at Monarch Park Stadium starts Tuesday June 2nd and all the other days.
Game uniforms are available for pick up next week Friday May 29th, Saturday May 30th, and Sunday May 31st. Please find pick up time and/or schedule below.
Registration fee includes a soccer ball, shirt, shorts, and socks, but you must obtain your own shin pads and soccer shoes, runners or running shoes are only for 4/5 years old born 2022-2021 players.

If you are not available or really can’t make any of these days, we will have uniforms at the field venue on your first game night and/or the following weeks as well. Avoid the long line-ups on game day, please pick-up this weekend. Anyone who is picking up for multiple children in different age groups, we will try our best to accommodate so you don’t need to come back multiple times.
A few notes and requirements to remember:
- House League Game Format begins the week of Monday June 1st (Week 1)
- Basic Development Program begins the week of Tuesday June 2nd (Session 1)

Cherry Beach Soccer Club: new website currently finalizing (PowerUp Sports)
Program Calendar: season calendar and game schedule will be posted online the week of Monday June 1st
- Cherry Beach Board Signage near the track entrance or near the field will indicate field assignment for every age division.
- Players must be dressed appropriately to play in their respective game uniforms (shirt, shorts, and socks, no jackets, NO jeans!)
- Participants MUST wear prescription sports glasses if depending only on reading glasses
- Players must wear shin pads with socks overtop (NOT shin pads overtop of socks!)
- Players must be wearing hard rubber soccer cleats and/or soft rubber turf soccer shoes
- Player’s must bring their own soccer ball with their name written on it to prevent and avoid from misplacing or taking someone’s soccer ball
- Bring your own reusable water container
- NO HATS, NO READING GLASSES & NO JEWELRIES PLEASE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS)
- Basic Development skills/drills session are provided with supervision by our club’s junior and head coaches
- NO soccer balls will be issued in Basic Development Program
- All sessions end 5 minutes to the hour and players/parents must leave the field to allow for transitioning
- Should you have an issue, do not confront the coach, players, or anyone ... allow for a 24 hrs cooling-off period
- Still have concerns, put in writing via email john@cherrybeachsoccer.ca and/or call the Club 416-367-4359 to speak to an official
As explained earlier, all House League players must wear their appropriate uniform every week for games. If misplaced or lost, a replacement is required to purchase at $40/set.
If players registered in Basic Development Skills/Drills, NO uniform or soccer ball is provided in this program.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any more Friend Requests at this time, since that deadline was April 30th. Only those who submitted a request and if we inadvertently missed it and it’s a single friend request ... only those will be accommodated. NO exceptions!
COACH & Coaching by Committee:
One final note, not as many individuals step forward to coach and House league teams are always coached by parent volunteer coaches. Everyone needs to understand that person who decides to come forward has a work and family life and may not always be there. This is also the same reason why some are reluctant to commit, but it would be great to have you just be an assistant coach and it can be done by committee. Upon picking up uniform, you may be asked if you wanted to coach or at least be an assistant while we find the core group to coach. It may happen that we don’t have all our coaches in place by the 1st week, we can have our staff step-in while we find the right individuals to lead. Coaches will be provided a team roster with names on their 1st day of programming to sort out communication and/or snack routines as some do. Keep in mind Peanut Free Zone!
