2017 Mens (Over 35+) Summer Soccer League

As well, for any of you that can still play Open 18+, we  have CB Waterfront League with 6-8 confirmed teams that is played on really nice turf and grass fields on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday should that be an option.  Average age of players around 30-32 years old.

 

The Mens (Over 35+) Summer Soccer is an Adult League comprised of at least 6-12 teams playing in a 11vs11 outdoor format.

All players must be registered with the Cherry Beach Soccer Club for insurance reasons.

SUMMER Soccer participation cost per team is $3995 for teams providing their own uniform
includes HST and/or $220/player based on a roster of 18 players
Individual Player Registration Fee is $240/player + PayPal Service Fee


Teams requiring a Club team uniform or World Cup Uniform add $400/complete set (shirt & shorts for 20 players)

Season to begin end of May, but still taking registrations, 6-8 teams confirmed!

Team entry fee includes Player & Club Fees, TSA/OSA Insurance, Referee Fee, Linesmen & even includes Playoff Fees this year!
 Season will start with the possibility of griendly games in April with formal 90 Minutes games starting mid-May until end of August
for approx.14-16 games with playoffs starting after Labour Day Long Weekend!

We are still confirming our permits and there are some new premium fields that have become available and at our
disposal.....trying to confirm!

The outdoor season games will be played every:
MONDAY / TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY
4-5 months of soccer from May to September
Cherry Beach Sports Fields, Thompson Memorial Park, Lamport Stadium etc.
The official start of the outdoor season is the week of May 15th, 2017.

 

The Rules of the Mens Over 35+ Summer Soccer League:

Teams will be made up using the following principals:
1) The minimum age will be 35 as of December 31st, 2017.
2) Each team will be allowed to have 5 designates in the 30-34 year old range on the team.
3) All players must be registered with the OSA or they will not be permitted to play.
4) Team Captains will provide picture of every registered player along with completed TSA Registration Form.
5) Only those players with picture provided with roster sheet will be permitted to play by referee.
6) Captains are suggested to complete a roster of 18 players (minimum) and add additional players up to a roster size of 25 players.
7) Teams must field a minimum of 7 players at start of game or forfeit game.
8) Should both teams be agreeable to let a registered/insured player play on either team upon informing ref, win, tie or loss will stand.
9) Trades will be allowed between teams as long as the palyers involved are agreeable to the transfer.
10) Slide tackles are not permitted in the Over 35 Adult League age group in outdoors or indoor play!
11) Scores will be kept and top team will be determined by Wins (3 points), Tie (1 point) & Loss (0 points). If there is tie:
     a) best goal differential, b) least goals c) least goals for d) head to head competition! 
12) There will be a League Champion and a Playoff Championship all awarded at the end of the 4 month season in September/October. 
13) Should teams be tied during the Playoff Championship Game, games will be decided by penalty shots.
14) All outdoor games will be played on 11vs11 field and maximum playing time is 90 minutes.
15) Referees govern games under FIFA rules, ensure players are registered & decisions are final.

* Please note that there is an added cost to participate in the Championship Playoff format not included in above pricing!

Anyone found being abusive to the referee or unsporting in anyway will receive a RED CARD. If a red card is issued the player sits out the next game. If a second red card is issued to a player in the same season of play the player will be suspended for 3 games. A third red card in one season will force the club to permanently ban the guilty party from play, and the registration fee will be forfeited.

Any PHYSICAL ASSAULT against a player or referee will result in an automatic permanent league suspension and a police investigation. Physical assault is any hitting, kicking, punching, choking, spitting on, head butting and of course spilling beer. It will not be tolerated. And any referee abuse will be investigated and if the player is found guilty by a panel of 3 captains he will be asked to leave the league.
